University PCard Update

In August 2024, the University migrated the PCard Application and Maintenance Form into the system (Workday).  These forms are no longer available via DocuSign.  Additional University information is available on the PCard website at https://busfin.osu.edu/buy-schedule-travel/pcard.
 

University PCard Roles and Responsibilities

Cardholders/card managers must adhere to all University policies and requirements. 

CFAES PCard Business Standards

  • Proactive Internal Dialogue:  It’s recommended CFAES employees have internal dialogue with department’s CCM prior to submitting any PCard request (application or maintenance).  Proactive dialogue will assist with better understanding the college’s business standards.
  • Workflow Approvals:  All PCard Applications and Maintenance requests require both CCM and SFO workflow approvals. 
  • PCard Application:  ONLY the CFAES employee intending to be the cardholder/card manager has system access to submit a new card application.  An employee does not have the system access to submit an application on behalf of another employee. 
  • PCard Maintenance Form:  CFAES is opting to have all maintenance requests ONLY submitted by the CFAES Service Center on behalf of cardholders/card managers.  Maintenance requests not submitted by the CFAES Service Center will be denied in workflow.
